The best therapy is..

…writing.

I love writing. Whether it’s a tweet or a blog post I always feel so much better about things after I’ve written them down. Whenever I have a tough decision to make I always write a pro/con list so I can mull things over on a piece of paper instead of in my head. Nine times out of ten these decisions I’ve already got an answer to but I feel more able to stick with it once I’ve read it back.
It’s no surprise that in many television shows and movies, characters are always shown writing long, rambling emails to their bosses consisting of a rant about something or another and 99% of the time the characters feel like writing these things down puts them into a far better perspective. The moral of this however is to not get too carried away and hit the send button!
